Regency Gilt Overmantle Mirror Original soft gold gilding, some red gesso showing and shrinkage to plaster which adds to its character. This lovely mirror has original plate with lovely depth and minimal foxing, bordered by vertical "harebells"with further accanthus mouldings either side.The whole surmounted by a shallow "D" arch, very typically Regency with scrolling foliate detail in relief. Dates to the early 19th Century. . Height 42.5" Width 55.5" Depth 2.5"
