Georgian Bowfronted Mahogany Inlaid Chest of Drawers Early 19th Century mahogany bowfront chest of drawers of small proportions.Dating to the Regency period this lovely chest features a shallow bow front with brass oval drop handles each embelished with a lion mask. The drawers are mahogany lined and cock beaded and all run smoothly. Across the front at the top is some vertical banding in tulip wood between 2 lines of stringing and the whole raised on bracket feet. A very nice original chest, golden honey in colour (not too dark!) This size lends itself to perhaps lounge or hallway aswell as bedroom. Height 36.75" (930mm) Width 41.5" (1053mm) Depth (front to back) 19.75" (503mm)
