Late 18th Century Mahogany Inlaid Demi Lune Tea Table |
Late 18th Century Mahogany Inlaid Demi Lune Tea Table Circa 1795, stunning inlaid mahogany Tea Table of Demi Lune outline. Comprising an oval top which opens to reveal a gorgeous polished surface with a stunning inlaid motif to its centre. The whole raised on square tapering marquetry and line inlaid legs. This lovely example looks stunning against a wall as shown in the photo i.e in a hall or perhaps a lounge setting but is useful as it opens out to form a small table that you could sit at perhaps with a lap top as a bedroom desk. A lovely, original example, has been very well cared for and is indeed a quality example having twin gatelegs to its rear as opposed to the usual "one".
