Large Victorian Gilt Overmantle Mirror Circa 1840 a large and impressive Gilt Overmantle Mirror of simple and elegant form. The large and original plate glass is in very good condition with just the smallest amount of foxing (which one would expect on an original mirror of this date). The arched mirror has pretty accanthus leaf detail to the surround with further scrolling relief work to either side. A lovely example in very good condition, certain to create an impression.
