Large Classical Edwardian Urn shaped brass table Lamp

Circa 1900, an Edwardian solid brass table lamp of grand proportions, contained within the laurel leaf decorated circular base is a cast iron insert providing stability. Above the base is an impressive vase shaped central section flanked by foliate decorated handles of classical design between which is an ornate stem leading to the central light fitting. Supplied newly wired with a generous length of antique style new spiral silk flex and a complementary shade which although not mint has a good period feel and is perfectly useable and suits the lamp wonderfully. The lamp itself has a few very minor dents commensurate with age which arent really noticeable but need mentioning to be accurate and really only add to its authenticity and character. Obviously a good quality lamp and it is stamped on one of the handles.

Large and impressive, rewired with complementary lampshade.
